Visual identity and tone of voice

Before the first line of code: how your company presents itself, what it says, and in what voice.

How it works

Here's what it looks like in practice

Colors and design tokens screen in the OneRank admin panel.

No platform can fix a brand that doesn't know what to say. Before publishing a single page, OneRank studies your business, defines the visual identity that will guide the entire platform, and writes the tone of voice guide that keeps your communication consistent — on the platform, in email, and in customer service. It's the foundational work included in onboarding for every new client.

  • Business discovery
  • Visual identity study
  • Tone of voice guide
  • Foundational copy

The problem

This is for you if…

Your logo comes in three versions and no one knows which one is right

After

The study defines a primary version and the approved variations, with the exact colors. From then on there's an answer, and it applies to the platform, the invoice and the storefront sign.

Everyone at the company writes to customers in a different way

After

The tone of voice guide defines how the brand speaks: what it says, what it doesn't say and how that stays consistent across the platform, email and customer service.

You can't explain what your company does in one sentence

After

That's what the discovery session is for: pinning down what the company does, for whom, and what sets it apart — before a single line of copy is written.

Your new platform would launch with placeholder text and no one would have time to replace it

After

The foundational copy comes ready to go: the company copy and the interface copy — headings, calls to action, buttons and messages — written before launch.

Honesty

This isn't for you if…

  • You want a new brand, created from scratch

This is an identity study for digital channels, not a brand creation project. It starts from what you already have — name, logo, colors, materials — and organizes how all of it is applied on the platform. If your company doesn't have a brand yet, the right path is a branding project, with branding scope and pricing.

  • You want a fifty-page brand manual

We deliver what governs the brand online: applied palette, typography, logo usage and the tone of voice guide. Applying the brand to uniforms, fleet vehicles, packaging and signage is a separate scope — and a full manual nobody opens is expensive and changes nothing on the platform.

  • You want to skip the conversation and go straight to the platform

Without the discovery session, the copy comes out generic and the platform ends up looking like any competitor's — because it was written with information anyone could have. It takes one hour of your time. Those who don't have that hour now usually ask for a rewrite later, and that ends up costing more time.

  • You want us to write without talking to anyone at your company

Copy is born from what the company knows but has never written down: the tough case, the objection that always comes up, the reason customers choose you. Without access to someone who knows that, the copy turns into a catalog description.

Scope

What's included

Business discovery

Your business explained in one sentence that works

Technical detail

A structured conversation to understand what the company does, for whom, what sets it apart and what is currently keeping customers from reaching it. It's the foundation for everything else.

Visual identity study

Your brand gets one rule, not three versions

Technical detail

A palette with exact color values, typography, logo usage and how all of it is applied across digital channels — even if you come in without a brand manual.

Tone of voice guide

Anyone on your team writes in the same voice

Technical detail

How the brand writes: level of formality, what it promises, what it never claims and before-and-after examples. It guides whoever writes next — including you.

Foundational company copy

Your platform launches with real copy, not filler

Technical detail

The copy that holds up the platform: the home, about and services pages and the calls to action that get visitors to act. Written from the discovery session, not filled in with placeholder text.

Interface copy

Every button and every notice says the right thing

Technical detail

Button labels, error messages, submission confirmations, form notices. It's the writing nobody notices when it's right and that annoys people when it's wrong.

Palette applied to the platform

Adjusting one color updates the whole platform at once

Technical detail

The defined colors go into the admin panel as design tokens and apply to the entire platform. Changing a shade later is an edit in a single place, not a hunt for color codes scattered through the code.

Consistent light and dark modes

Your brand stays yours in dark mode

Technical detail

The identity is applied in both modes, with contrast checked in each one. Visitors who use their device in dark mode see the same brand, not an improvised version.

From sign-up to launch

How we deliver

  1. Discovery session

    one conversation with you

What the company does, for whom, what sets it apart and what is currently keeping customers from reaching it. One hour, and it defines everything else.

  2. Review of what you already have

    you send the files

Logo, colors, materials, previous website, social media. What works is kept; what doesn't is pointed out, along with the reason.

  3. Identity study presented

    you approve

Palette, typography and how the brand is applied across digital channels, shown in the real context of the screens — not on a standalone board.

  4. Tone of voice guide written

    you approve

The brand's writing rules with concrete examples, including what it doesn't say — which is usually the most useful part of the document.

  5. Foundational copy delivered

    you approve the copy

The company copy and the interface copy, written in the agreed tone and ready to go into the platform.

  6. Identity applied to the platform

    no action needed from you

The palette turned into design tokens, typography loaded and the result checked in light and dark mode.

How to get it

Part of onboarding

This item isn't charged separately: it happens once, during onboarding, and supports everything that comes after. Anyone who signs up for any plan already gets it.

Onboarding is R$ 1,199, paid only once up front, and it also covers technical setup and creating your Google Business Profile. It's never charged again.

What's ready

In the first month, you already have

The visual identity guide, yours

With the exact color values, typography and logo usage rules. It applies to the platform and to everything the brand publishes anywhere else.

The tone of voice guide, yours

With examples of how the brand writes and what it doesn't say. It's there for the next piece of copy your team writes without us.

The platform copy, written

The home, about and services pages and the calls to action, ready and approved by you before launch.

The palette set up in the admin panel

Your brand colors as editable tokens. You can adjust a shade and watch the entire platform follow.

The identity checked in both modes

Light and dark, with verified contrast — not a version patched together in a hurry after someone complains.

Before you sign up

Frequently asked questions

No. It's part of onboarding, which is R$ 1,199 paid just once upfront and also covers the technical setup and the creation of your Google profile. The monthly fee, starting at R$ 249, pays for what keeps the platform up and running afterward. Onboarding isn't repeated.

Yes, and in that case it's faster. The work becomes about application: adapting your existing identity to digital channels, with contrast and legibility checked, and writing down the tone of voice — which almost no company has documented, even when the brand itself is well defined.

Not within this scope. Creating a brand is a branding project, with research, alternatives and rounds of revisions — and fitting that into an R$ 1,199 onboarding fee would mean delivering poorly. If that's your situation, we'll tell you up front and point you in the right direction.

Yes. Both documents are yours and remain valid with any other provider, channel or material. You paid for the intellectual work; it isn't locked into the platform.

One discovery session and the approvals along the way — identity, tone of voice and copy. It's not a project that needs you every week, but it doesn't happen without you either: the decisions belong to the company, and that's what separates a platform that's yours from a generic one.

Yes, in the admin panel, without calling anyone. The colors become design tokens that apply to the entire platform — changing one of them updates every screen at once, including in dark mode.

The study is presented and fine-tuned with you before it's built into the platform — that's exactly why it happens before setup, not after. What onboarding doesn't cover is starting from scratch over and over: at that point, the conversation becomes a branding project, with its own scope.
