Content migration

Standalone add-on: our team moves the content from your current website to your new platform.

How it works

Here's what it looks like in practice

Diagram: old URLs redirected with 301s to the new URLs.

If you already have a website, you don't need to start from scratch or spend nights copying text from one place to another. Our team moves the pages, articles, and images from your current website to the new platform, already restructured in the format Google and AI tools read. It's billed separately on purpose: clients without a previous website shouldn't pay for a migration they won't use.

  • Pages, articles, and images
  • Restructured in the new format
  • Review before publishing

The problem

This is for you if…

Leaving your current website would mean losing eight years of content

After

Your pages, articles, and images are moved to the new platform, already restructured in the format that search engines and AI tools read.

The alternative was someone copying and pasting page by page, after hours

After

The work becomes ours, done in fixed blocks of hours. You review the result instead of doing the transfer yourself.

Old links pointing to your current site would lead nowhere

After

Every old address gets a redirect to the new one. Anyone who clicks an old link lands where they meant to go, and Google carries the history over to the new page.

No one knows what's still useful and what's just clutter

After

Your existing content is inventoried first: what's worth migrating, what's worth rewriting, and what's better to retire — with the reason behind each decision.

Honesty

This isn't for you if…

  • You want a guarantee that your Google rankings won't fluctuate

A well-executed migration preserves what you've already earned, and that's exactly what redirects are for. Even so, some fluctuation in the following weeks is common, because Google needs to reprocess the entire platform — and that timing isn't up to us. Anyone who promises zero fluctuation is promising something they don't control.

  • You want to migrate everything, including pages that never got a single visit

Migrating clutter costs hours and also dilutes the quality of the new platform in the eyes of search engines. We prefer to take inventory first and recommend what to retire. If you still decide to migrate everything, that's your call — it will just cost more blocks and deliver less.

  • You want us to bring your old layout along too

What gets migrated is the content — text, images, structure — not the design of your previous website. The new layout comes from the identity study done during onboarding. Reproducing the old one would mean paying for a new platform only to keep the look that made you want to switch.

  • You want to migrate from a system with a locked-down database

Some older systems and some website builders don't let you export content in a usable form. In those cases, migration turns into manual transcription, the cost in blocks goes up, and sometimes rewriting ends up cheaper and better. We tell you this in the inventory, before you approve.

Scope

What's included

Inventory of your current content

You know what you have before deciding what to bring

Technical detail

A survey of everything that exists today, with a recommendation for each item: migrate, rewrite, or retire. It's what turns migration into a decision instead of a blind transfer.

Company pages carried over

Your pages start out structured, not pasted in

Technical detail

About, services, policies, and other fixed pages are brought over and rebuilt within the structure of the new platform — not pasted inside a block of text.

Articles with date, author, and category

Your blog keeps its true age

Technical detail

Each migrated post keeps its original date, author, and category — which preserves your blog's history instead of making eight years of content look like it was published today.

Reprocessed images

Old photos stop slowing down page loads

Technical detail

Images are brought over, converted to a lightweight format, and generated in multiple widths. Old media is usually the biggest cause of slowness after a migration.

Redirects from old addresses

No old link ends up leading nowhere

Technical detail

Every old URL pointed to its new counterpart. This is what prevents 404 errors on shared links and what passes on to the new address everything the old one had earned.

Reviewed, clean addresses

Page addresses start to make sense

Technical detail

Addresses with codes, dates, or parameters in the middle give way to readable addresses — always with a redirect from the old one, so nothing breaks along the way.

Review before publishing

Nothing goes live without someone checking it first

Technical detail

Every piece of migrated content is checked: formatting, images in place, internal links working. Content moved without review goes live with broken markup.

Indexing check after launch

Pages lost in the migration are found and fixed

Technical detail

Over the following weeks, we keep an eye on Search Console to catch any page that was left out or any redirect that didn't take.

Specifications

Technical specs

How it's billed
R$ 250 per block The first three hours are free, as part of the onboarding package. Anything beyond that is billed in three-hour blocks at R$ 250 per block — the size of your content library determines how many.
Why it's billed separately
Standalone add-on So that clients starting from scratch don't pay for a migration they won't use. It's the same reason it wasn't included in onboarding.
What gets migrated
Content Pages, articles with date and author, images, and documents. The old website's layout is not reproduced.
Redirects
One per address Set up for every old address. The manageable redirects feature is part of the Destaque plan.
Block estimate
Before work starts It comes from the inventory, before you approve — not something discovered halfway through the work.
Old website during the process
Stays live It stays live until launch. The migration happens on the new platform, without interrupting what's already published.

From sign-up to launch

How we deliver

  1. Inventory and estimate

    you approve the scope

A survey of what exists, an item-by-item recommendation, and an estimate of how many blocks the work will take. You approve before anything starts.

  2. Content extraction

requires access to your current website

Content is extracted from the old system in whatever way it allows — export, reading the published pages, or transcription when there's no other option.

  3. Rebuilding on the platform

    no action needed from you

Pages, articles, and images go in already structured in the new format, with dates and authors preserved and images reprocessed.

  4. Redirect map built

requires the list of old URLs

Every old address linked to its new one, including those that were renamed. This is the step that preserves what the old website had already earned.

  5. Review and launch

    you approve the launch

A check of the migrated content, publishing, and pointing the domain to the new platform.

  6. Post-launch follow-up

    no action needed from you

Over the following weeks, indexing is tracked to catch any forgotten page or redirect that didn't work.

How to get it

Sold separately

It's purchased separately, on any plan — including the entry-level plan. If you don't want it, you don't pay for it. R$ 250 per 3-hour block

The first three hours are free and included in the onboarding package — most migrations fit within them. Larger content libraries continue in three-hour blocks, and you approve each block before we start.

What's ready

In the first month, you already have

The content inventory, in writing

The list of what exists, with a recommendation for each item — migrate, rewrite, or retire — and the block estimate.

Your content rebuilt on the new platform

Structured pages and articles, with dates and authors preserved, and images already reprocessed.

The redirect map, applied

Every old address tested one by one: clicking an old link takes you to the new page, not to an error.

The first indexing snapshot after launch

A picture of how Google reprocessed the platform — the starting point for tracking the weeks that follow.

Before you sign up

Frequently asked questions

The first three hours cost nothing: they're part of the onboarding package, and most migrations fit within them. Larger content libraries continue in three-hour blocks at R$ 250 per block. The estimate comes from the inventory, before you approve — it's not a figure you discover halfway through.

Because not every client has a previous website, and charging everyone for a service only half of them use is unfair to the other half. Those starting from scratch pay for onboarding and nothing else; those with existing content pay for the work of bringing it over.

What we can promise is the work that protects you: a redirect for every old address, a preserved structure, and indexing follow-up after launch. Some fluctuation in the first few weeks is normal, because Google needs to reprocess the entire platform — and that timeline isn't up to us. Anyone who guarantees zero change is guaranteeing something they don't control.

No. The work happens on the new platform while your old website stays live. The switch only happens at launch, when the domain starts pointing to the new platform — and we schedule it with you.

No. What gets migrated is the content; the new layout comes from the identity study done during onboarding. Reproducing the old design would mean paying for a new platform only to keep the look that made you want to switch.

Almost never. The inventory usually shows that a large share of the content never got a single visit and doesn't rank for anything — migrating it costs hours and also dilutes the quality of the new platform. We recommend what to retire; the decision is yours, and it can be reversed as long as the old website still exists.

It happens with older systems and some closed website builders. In that case, extraction turns into manual transcription, and the cost in blocks goes up — sometimes to the point where rewriting is cheaper and delivers a better result. This shows up in the inventory, before you approve anything.
